Drivers looking for a fun and affordable vehicle will get exactly what they want with the 2018 Toyota Yaris expected to arrive this summer. The MSRP for the entry-level Yaris is $15,635 for the three-door model equipped with a manual transmission. Our team here at Western Slope Toyota is going to explore some of the changes to give drivers a better idea of what this new model will offer.
The 2018 Toyota Yaris hatchback has three models to offer: L, LE and SE. The L and LE models offer both three- and five-door model options, and the SE model comes as a five-door. Drivers will have the option of a manual transmission for both the L and SE models, but all three will offer automatic transmission options as well.
What’s new for the 2018 Toyota Yaris?
The Toyota Yaris is designed and assembled in France, so its European style definitely shines through. This hatchback will offer a sportier and more dynamic design for the 2018 model with changes to both the exterior and interior of all three trims.
The 2018 Yaris L and LE trims will receive a new front fascia featuring a new grille with chrome accents. The 2018 Yaris SE trim will sport a new front fascia with a new piano black mesh pattern grille and chrome accents. The SE trim will have a wider rear look and stance with wider taillights integrated into the rear door as well as a new rear bumper. It will come set with 16-inch machined alloy wheels with dark accents for a sleek, classy touch.

New interior features include a standard tilt, three-spoke steering wheel with audio controls on the basic L trim. The L and LE trims will have the same Sport analog instrumentation that’s only been available in the SE trim. This includes the speedometer, tachometer and fuel gauge as well as an LCD display with tons of useful tools including a clock, outside temperature gauge and warning messages.
Drivers will be pleased to hear that all Yaris trims will be equipped with Entune Audio systems, which include a touch-screen display as well as plenty of available features such as Bluetooth and navigation. There will also be two new exterior color options making it a total of eight options for drivers to choose from.
