Recently at the State Fair of Texas, Toyota unveiled a 2019 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition model. It combines the impressive capabilities of the Toyota 4Runner with a plethora of exclusive design features.

Black Accents on 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition

The 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition — which will be offered as a package option for the 4Runner Limited grade — is adorned with black accents, including on the front and rear bumpers, door handles, outer mirrors, window moldings, roof rails, door garnish, and rocker panels. Also, the grille slots have black chrome moldings, while the 20-inch wheels are all-black.

The dark treatment continues into the cabin, with black interior trim on the center cluster, steering wheel, shift knob, inner door grips, and console panels. Exterior paint options for the 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition include Blizzard Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and Midnight Black Metallic.

How much does the 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition cost?

Buyers of the 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition package have a choice of two models: Limited 4×2 and Limited 4×4. The 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition package costs $1,740, in addition to the MSRP ($43,225 for Limited 4×2; $45,260 for Limited 4×4).

Tundra SX Package and Tacoma SX Package

Visitors to the State Fair of Texas were treated to two other special vehicle packages: the 2019 Toyota Tundra SX Package and 2019 Toyota Tacoma SX Package. Offered for the Tundra SR5 grade, the Tundra SX Package costs $1,630 and has color-keyed accents, 18-inch black alloy wheels, and upgraded bucket seats. Also, all of the badging was removed for a more streamlined look. The Tacoma SX Package, which costs $560 and is available for the Tacoma Access Cab models, gets the black-out treatment throughout the truck and has upgraded 16-inch matte black alloy wheels.
