Fonduing It Right for Valentine’s Day 

If you are looking to smother some food in chocolate, this is the event for you. House-made foods will include strawberry angel food cake, vanilla pound cake and orange shortbread. Other food options include bananas, strawberries, apples and mandarins. If you’re looking for a cocktail, there will be one made with fresh press lemon wheels, turbinado syrup and vodka. 

Valentine’s Day Walk-in Painting Hours All Day 

If you are looking to get creative, the Fat Cat Pottery has walk-in painting hours all day. Many pieces of the pottery available to paint range from $15 to $25. The glazes used are non-toxic and food safe. No reservations are required. The shop is open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.  

Hilltop’s Valentines Dance 

Those who are 55 years old or older, check out the Valentine’s Dance at the Beason and Hilltop Senior Living Communities. The music provided is from Clark Gault’s Swing City Express. This event will take place on February 14th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 per person or $25 at the door.
