Performance

Under the hood, the Sequoia sports a 381-hp 5.7L V8 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SUV also has available multi-mode 4WD that can be easily engaged by turning a shift dial and can be locked for maximum traction. For even more traction, the Sequoia’s advanced Automatic Limited-Slip Differential (Auto LSD) uses the brakes to help reduce wheel spin. Add in the SUV’s fully boxed frame design and you’ve got durability and reliability for whatever challenge you and your Sequoia may encounter.

Safety

Every Sequoia comes standard with Toyota’s Star Safety System, which includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), and more. Toyota’s standard Tire Pressure Monitor System alerts drivers when a tire becomes critically under inflated. The available Platinum’s Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) lane change assist system uses radar to scan blind spots, while the advanced airbag system helps absorb energy from impact.

Higher trim models of the Sequoia feature the Entune App suite which features a collection of popular apps including Destination Search, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, Pandora, and more.
