The 2018 Tacoma boasts the power to get the job done with its high-tech engine choices. Both engines are mated to the standard Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission — or for driving purists, the V6 is available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Also, with its high-strength steel body, the Tacoma has the toughness and durability to handle whatever challenge it encounters.

Off-Road Capabilities of the 2018 Toyota Tacoma

With its state-of-the-art off-road technologies, the 2018 Tacoma enables you to head far out into the wilderness. The 4WDemand part-time 4WD system delivers excellent traction over uneven terrains, while the Automatic Limited Slip Differential helps prevent wheel sleep by automatically applying the brakes as needed. Additional off-road features include the Multi-Terrain Select system, Active Traction Control, Hill Start Assist Control and CRAWL Control. Also, the Tacoma smoothly absorbs the bumps with the sport-tuned shocks in the TRD Sport models, while the TRD Off Road models come standard with Bilstein shocks.

With its high-quality materials and comfortable seats, the cabin of the Tacoma is an inviting space for your journeys short and long. Toyota's engineers put much attention to creating a quiet ride, with enhanced aerodynamics to reduce wind noise and a tight seal between the cab and the pickup bed. The optional front Dual-Zone Climate Control enables you and your passenger to be at the preferred temperature, while the available moonroof gives you a great view of the sky above. Also, with such technologies as the Entune Audio multimedia system, Siri Eyes Free, USB port and Bluetooth Wireless, it's easy to stay connected on any of your adventures.
